Last Thursday, following our commitment to spreading awareness of personal data protection, PrivacyCompliance organized a training session with the Saigon Human Resources Club. The training session was designed specifically by PrivacyCompliance to cover personal data matters that the HR department would most often encounter in their everyday activities.
Over the course of an hour and a half, PrivacyComplianceโs experts presented an overview of the personal data protection regulations of Vietnam, measures to improve the organizationโs data protection status, and the role of DPO in an enterprise. Having a great interest in the subject at hand, members of Saigon HR Club also posed a number of questions, many of which were answered on the spot by our experts in a detailed and practical manner.
In all, we believe that this training session was very fruitful with over 80 eager participants, and that we were able to spread awareness of the importance of personal data compliance. PrivacyCompliance also hopes that there will be many other opportunities in the future for us to work and exchange experiences with other groups, and organizations.
